Fees & Insurance
Beginning therapy is an investment — of time, energy, and financial resources. We believe it is important to approach conversations about fees with openness and transparency so there are no surprises along the way.
Therapy Fees
The standard fee for a 60-minute individual therapy session is $225.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been discussed. A limited number of sliding scale appointments may be available in certain circumstances. If cost is a concern, we encourage you to reach out so we can discuss options and determine what may be appropriate.
Our goal is to make the process as clear and comfortable as possible.
Insurance
Dr. McElroy is currently in-network with:
- Aetna
- Cigna
- United Healthcare
- TRICARE
If you plan to use insurance, we recommend contacting your provider to understand your mental health benefits, including deductible and copay or coinsurance responsibilities. We are happy to assist with general questions about the process.
For clients using out-of-network benefits, documentation can be provided for reimbursement submission.
Mediation Fees
Mediation services are structured differently from therapy and fees vary based on the type and duration of services requested. Please contact the office directly for additional information.
